Transportation Study Heatmap
Specifically design for the Twin Cities, this study will assist researchers from the University of Michigan and city officials to improve public transportation. We investigate the travel patterns of Twin Cities Area workers and residents, in an effort to understand how well the transit system is serving their travel needs. Current transportation usage shown in the heatmap above.
Our first phase goal is 600 participants. We appreciate your participation.

This mobile application has been developed to support the Twin Cities Travel Study effort. Our team will use this app to collect GPS location data from the survey participants. This GPS data will be used to investigate the travel patterns of Twin Cities Area workers and residents, in an effort to understand how well the transit system is serving their travel needs.

We want to work directly with communities to come up with solutions to city problems. We partner with cities to understand what the challenges are, we take information back to our team, and then we come up and help to continually iterate with communities to understand what the best solutions should be.
